On February 24th, 2015, my life changed dramatically. God had a plan that no one saw coming. A plan that to this day I don't like, and a plan that still tests my faith to it's core. A plan that included the passing of my father. Pain, suffering, fear, hatred, confusion, depression, anxiety, loneliness, isolation, there is a never ending list of emotions my family still feels today because of what has happened, but there is hope. Through this absolutely devastating period of my life, God's love endured.

That is the nature behind this album, perseverance. Through the last week of my Dad's life, God engrained a verse onto my heart that has molded my perspective of earthly agony.

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer" Romans 12:12.

That verse is the anthem call of this EP. The complete inspiration behind writing and creating this album. That when you are suffering, God has called you to rejoice in hope, be patient through affliction and faithful in prayer! When I was placed through what has been the darkest part of my life, I followed the call of Romans 12:12, and because of it God has placed a transcending peace over my life. This verse is a statement of endurance, that through Jesus you will endure any hardship, and that's what I want to share with the world!

To sum it up. Sometimes, life sucks! There are ups and downs, but God's love remains. I've seen pain, I've felt grief, I've been angry, and I've been depressed, but nothing is more satisfying than the peace of Christ that has consumed my life, and that is something this broken world needs to hear.

So, here is the call. When things get rough, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer", and watch what God does in your life!
